Entering a private British school is an exciting and, at the same time, breathtaking process for a child and his/her parents. We at  JAMES & WILLIAM CONSULTANCY LTD pass all preparation stages with our young wards and tackle dozens issues. Our experience makes your child’s entering a school comfortable and efficient.

Registration

At least one year before the education commencement we submit applications to your selected schools on your behalf and manage the processes at all stages.

Interview

Before entering a school each child passes the personal interview with a school representative. We know what they will ask you child about and how he/she should present himself/herself to pass this stage with a positive result and without any stress.

Entrance examinations

To enter a private school, it is necessary to pass English and mathematics examinations. The leading academic schools conduct exams also in the subjects which are selected by a student as his/her main subject, for example, in physics, biology, science. Usually schools conduct entrance exams on the territory of the school exclusively, on definite dates, but there are some schools which allow us organising exams on their behalf.

If you wish to enter a strong academic school, we strongly advise you beginning the preparation in advance. 2- or 3-week English courses in England twice a year is a mandatory step for adaptation for studying abroad.

In summer many boarding schools offer specialised courses for preparing foreign students for training in great Britain with introduction into the school structure and learning of the basic subjects. It will be a great support for your child!

You child has entered the school. What comes next?

Congratulations, your child has entered an English school! The first and the most important stage has been over. Once you have passed your exams successfully, the school will submit you an official training offer which you are to accept in writing. Also, you will receive a contract and a set of different forms to be filled in.

Before the beginning of the academic year you are to prepare for new conditions of residence in the foreign country and deal with organisational matters. We at JAMES & WILLIAM CONSULTANCY LTD  are ready to tackle all your administrative issues.
